• The Lament  Close my eyes to the sunlight, / My Morning Star, my storm.
• That Look  That look in your eyes, / That wanton look,
• Desire  I close my eyes and you are all I can see, / without you I feel I woul
• Broken  We were so strong once, / now we are broken.

~THE LAMENT~

Close my eyes to the sunlight, My Morning Star, my storm. Fold your wings in grace and take your leave of me. Taste my blessings as you go.

We will not lie as one again and therefore,

My heart is ashes…

My tears are blood…

Hunt well, my breath, and take it with you

I shall tend a grave of deep water

And I shall wash away our enemies.

Bide me,  my desert’s fleeting wind,

Holt aloft your blade and oil it w/my tears.

I shall be the owl upon the nightwind

And the cat with silent paws…
